InternetSpeech Releases New Version of Voice Internet:
Users Can Now Listen to Streaming Audio

SAN JOSE - Aug 01, 2006 - InternetSpeech, a premier Voice Internet technology provider, announced today that it has released version 5.0 of its Voice Internet service with several very attractive features including the Streaming Audio capability.

"Today's release further validates netECHO's increasing demand by many highly mobile, elderly, visually impaired, blind and Digital Divide people" said Dr. Emdad Khan, founder, president and CEO of InternetSpeech. "Most of the new features are added based on the requests from our existing user base. Part of this project was supported by the National Institute on Disability and Rehabilitation Research under the Department of Education SBIR Phase I grant - thanks to the NIDRR under the Dept. of Education for its support."

The streaming audio feature allows the user to listen to music, Internet radio stations, and many other live audio programs using any telephone. All major audio formats including MP3, PLS, WSX and WMA are supported. Other audio formats will be supported in future. Other key features include support of upper case letters, support of PDF, Microsoft WORD, Power Point, and EXCEL type email attachments & web pages and option to save a link while listening.
